We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious experienced graduate nurse (any field) to join an active and motivated team, teaching and researching within a Department which delivers nursing, midwifery and other health related programmes. This post is specifically for the Nursing Associate course.
You will be involved in the teaching and development of the Trainee Nursing Associate course, and other related pre-registration and post registration nursing courses including where appropriate, the supervision of doctoral students. You will also provide support to apprentices, students, practice supervisors and practice assessors within clinical practice areas.
Commitment to facilitating student centred learning and innovative approaches to nursing are essential. You should have knowledge of the Nursing Associate role and of a broad range of nursing practice and research.
Current registration with the NMC and completion of a master’s degree in a relevant subject are essential. You must be a member of the Health Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment. On appointment you must be prepared to register and study towards a doctorate if you do not already hold one.
