The School of Human and Health Sciences is seeking to appoint a leading expert in Apprenticeships to support our growing provision within the School. The successful candidate will lead Apprenticeship developments and quality assurance processes.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and experience in the field of Apprenticeships. You will be familiar with OFSTED inspection processes and ensure both our School and University apprenticeship systems and processes are at the highest possible level of quality.
You will join a School that has embraced the opportunities around developing Apprenticeships (level 5, 6 and 7) and has significant Apprentice Learners based in the School at each of these levels. Whilst level 6 Trainee Nurse Associates form the bedrock of our learner numbers, we have recently won contracts to deliver level 6 Paramedic Apprenticeships, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Operating Department Practice, Podiatry and Nursing also with Advanced Clinical Practice and Nursing at level 7.
We now need to consolidate the leadership and governance of our Apprentice programmes with an enthusiastic and experienced Director who will manage the governance and quality aspects of these programmes, given their divergence from our standard UG courses.
The University of Huddersfield has been recognised as a gold-rated institution in the Teaching Excellence Framework and is committed to highest standards in the generation and dissemination of knowledge.
