We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our global None in Three research centre team. The successful candidate will contribute to delivery of the centre's GBP 4.6m global research project, preventing gender-based violence through prosocial computer games.
The post holder will support the implementation of quantitative research across four study countries (the UK, Uganda, Jamaica and India), providing co-ordinating support to research teams in the countries, to ensure adherence to established research methods. The work will include co-ordinating data entry and supporting data analysis of up to 40,000 psychosocial surveys of young people aged 10-18, assessing their attitudes and exposure to violence. It will also involve contributing to the planning and implementation of randomised control trials of None in Three's four prosocial computer games, to test their effectiveness as gender-based violence prevention tools amongst young people in schools.
For this role you must possess experience in conducting quantitative research, be familiar with research methods and ethical considerations and be a confident and effective communicator with excellent attention to detail. Experience of publishing research papers and/or possessing a PhD would be an advantage.
