The Department of Allied Health Professions, Sport and Exercise is looking for an experienced academic to provide leadership to the Division of Health and Rehabilitation. This position offers an exciting and unique opportunity for someone from a physiotherapy or occupational therapy background to take a strategic role in the leadership and ongoing developments of an exciting portfolio of education and research.
The job would ideally suit someone with academic leadership experience of teaching and research in physiotherapy or occupational therapy. Current registration with the HCPC as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, and a Master's degree are essential.
You must be a member of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment, and you must be a Chartered Member of the Chartered Management Institute or be willing to commence this within first 12 months of employment.
You must also be willing to undertake, or be registered for a doctorate, if you do not already hold one.
