Permanent, 37 hours per week
Are you an energetic and enthusiastic trainer who is passionate about developing students as future leaders and change agents?
Do you have a proactive approach to students’ learning and in preparing them for success at university and in the workplace?
The University of Huddersfield is seeking enthusiastic educators to help deliver the Global Professional Award (GPA) and to contribute to this innovative programme’s development and improvement.
Building on early successes of the Award, we are expanding our team of trainers to enable the delivery of high quality online and face-to-face content to undergraduate students. GPA trainers collaborate with one another and University stakeholders to design content based on three key themes of Employability & Enterprise, Wellbeing, and Global and Social Awareness. The Award links to our institutional strategy map and aims to support positive employability outcomes, as well as providing students with a world-class learning experience. It enables students to leave with enhanced skills and knowledge to help them succeed at university and in their chosen career paths. We are delighted to be offering this unique programme across our full institution.
Successful applicants will be joining the University of Huddersfield’s award-winning Careers and Employability Service, recipient of the Best University Employability Strategy Award (National Graduate Recruitment Awards, 2021). We are determined to build on our excellent DLHE results and student satisfaction and to further strengthen our employer engagement metrics. If you are looking for a challenging and stimulating role that further develops you as a professional and your ability to support students through their university journey, you won’t be disappointed.
We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging applications from diverse groups currently underrepresented at this level, such as members of the Black, Asian and minority ethnic community. All appointments will be made on merit.
If you are currently registered as a student at the University, please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
