The University of Huddersfield is seeking to make an appointment at Reader level to contribute to new developments in Chemical Engineering teaching and research in the School of Applied Sciences.
You should be, or be able to become, a Chartered Chemical Engineer, with a successful research track record, and with experience in teaching undergraduate chemical engineering including supervising the final year Design Project. Experience relevant to teaching advanced process development is also particularly welcomed. A PhD (or nearing completion) in a relevant subject is an essential requirement for this role. You will join a well-equipped and funded Department with cross-subject research collaboration between Chemical, Biological, Food and Pharmaceutical Scientists, currently teaching courses including BEng and MEng Chemical Engineering and BSc (Hons) Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.
If you are currently registered as a full-time student at the University please note that you may only apply for part-time jobs of 15 hours or less per week.
