Fixed term appointment for 2 years, 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has become available for a high-calibre graduate to work with the University, in partnership with Creative Scene, to develop and embed advanced data-enabled strategies and support audience development for arts and culture across the region.
The Company
Creative Scene is the Arts Council England's Creative People and Places programme for North Kirklees, West Yorkshire. The organisation seeks to encourage more people to experience and be inspired by the arts.
The Role
Working with experts from the University of Huddersfield, in partnership with Creative Scene, through the acclaimed KTP scheme (www.ktponline.org.uk), you will be challenged to project manage a 24-month programme of research, design and implementation of an innovative audience development system, for arts and culture, and establishing the procedures which underpin this.
You will be employed by the University of Huddersfield but will be based at Creative Scene, in Dewsbury, working directly with senior company staff, as well as receiving additional mentoring support from expert University staff.
The Person
You should hold a degree (2.1 or above) in either Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline, or alternatively a Creative Industries Management or general business qualification. You should possess strong statistical and analytical skills with a grounded knowledge of basic statistic techniques and concepts. Excellent communication skills will be fundamental.
