Fixed term for 2 years, 37 hours per week
The School of Arts & Humanities at the University of Huddersfield seeks to appoint a Grade 7 Cultural Programme Manager (initially for 2 years) to organise, coordinate, manage, and develop a range of arts and cultural activities. The School has a number of relationships with local arts and heritage groups within Huddersfield and in the West and South Yorkshire region and has ambitions to draw audiences, both nationally and internationally to the area through a vibrant cultural programme. Existing relationships include: Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Huddersfield Literature Festival, Temporary Contemporary, Woven, and involvement in Kirklees Year of Music 2023. The School also plans to implement a guest curatorial programme. The candidate must have depth and breadth of experience in leading on arts and cultural programming, with curatorial awareness and/or experience of planning exhibitions, live public events and a range of public engagement activities.
