The University of Huddersfield is looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Creative Programmer.
The successful applicant will be a practising programmer with a strong profile, who can show a depth of knowledge and understanding of current trends in art and communication and help carry the department forward in new and innovative ways.
Candidates from a broad range of creative professional practices in animation, interaction design, user experience, 3D design, games, graphic design and art will be considered, with experience at HE level. As an active practitioner in your field you will have a creative industry profile that informs your teaching. You will have an excellent track record of teaching and supporting students at undergraduate levels. Experience of curriculum development and module leadership or willingness to take on these responsibilities will be considered an advantage.
With a Masters in an appropriate subject area, you will be encouraged to contribute to the research ethos in the Department. You will be joining a dedicated, passionate and forward-thinking team.
In addition to your application, you will be required to submit a digital portfolio of your creative programming with your application.
