The University of Huddersfield is seeking to make an appointment at Senior Lecturer level to contribute to new developments in Chemical Engineering teaching and research in the School of Applied Sciences.
You should be, or be able to become, a Chartered Chemical Engineer, with a successful research track record, and with experience in teaching undergraduate chemical engineering including supervising the final year Design Project. Experience relevant to teaching Advanced Mass Transfer, Computer-Aided Product and Process Design and/or Advanced Process Development is also particularly welcomed. You will join a well-equipped and funded Department with cross-subject research collaboration between Chemical, Biological, Food and Pharmaceutical Scientists, currently teaching courses including BEng and MEng Chemical Engineering and BSc (Hons) Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.
A first degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with a PhD in a relevant subject are essential requirements for this role.
